Normally its useful only in the first few weeks. After that the foals kind of starts its own immunity. I remember once my farm was swept by a bad enteritis infection epidemic. Every foal was getting infected on the second or third week. Disinfecting the stables perfectly was difficult when you are dealing with illiterate labourers who is more ... See moreworried about their salary than your disinfection status. So daily i used to harvest blood from old mares and keep it ready for the foals when they are born. Normally the second day, i give. It worked ...may not be perfect...

u can give it introoessous or i/p. we at CUPA Bangalore have used it extensively in parvo puppies with excellent results. u may want to keep ur options open for expensive puppies.
