Case discussion
Sig: canine, GS, 9yrs, male, around 25kg,
Cli.Findings : limbs and scrotal edema, exercise intolerance, Sinus arrhythmia, weak pulse, dyspnoea, T-101.8'F, mm-Pale, CRT>2Sec
X.Ray and Scanning : Pleural and pericardial effusion, Vertebral Heart Score[VHS] is 11.5.
ECG : short and wider P wave..., long PR interval,
Diagnosis : Congestive Heart failure(CHF)
Treatment and management: 1st day; after diagnose for the emergency reliefness Pericardiocentesis and Thoracocentesis were done. start with high dose Frusemide(6mg/kg) and supportive treatment(IV) plus K suppliment.
2nd day; same treatment with Digoxin
3rd day; changed to Spironolactone, Digoxin, Enalapril plus supportive with diet mgt
for 9 days in a calm separate place.
Now bit improved and no recurrent fluid accumulation
and going to discharge with the same treatment with oral route with client advice.

great work, nice presentation. what is dossage of digoxin? I am very cautious on Digoxin. not very safe.
