Sarabjit Singh A CASE OF URINARY BLADDER STONES......
A FEMALE DASHUND, HAD A BLOOD IN THE URINE FOR PAST 3-4 MONTHS AND THE OWNER WAS NOT AWARE FOR THE COMPLICATION. SO THEY BROUGHT THE DOG AND AN X-RAY FINDING SHOWED THE STONES IN THE BLADDER AND THE STONES WERE FOUR IN NO. THE DOG WAS OPERATED FOR THE STONES AND WE SUCCESSFULLY REM...OVED ALL THE STONES FROM THE BLADDER...
HERE ARE SOME OF THE PHOTOS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THEM....

in the absence of hematuria, can there be any other clinical signs to suggest calculi? sirjee, can we make out what type of stone was it and accordingly change food? How is the efficacy of Renal diet Vs Urinary SO?

in the absence of hematuria the clinical signs will be urinary inconsistency and obstruction. the radiological finding will comfirm the symptoms. the cause of the stones were primarily due to the hard water they were giving to the dog. and urinary alkalizer is quite useful in preventing the stones and urinary infection...
