In CHF there is intracellular (?) accumulation of fluid in lungs, peritoneum, llimbs and other places which needs to beregulary thrown out.Lasix and spirinolactone works in such a way that the K-sparing effets of Spirinolactone reduces the disadvantages of lasix and added K- supplementation with lasix. one the otherhand spirinolactone is a loop diuretics unlike lasix. so the combination is good when one thinks for long time management of CHF.You can use both together.
